Shame on Anheuser Busch Campaign

MATCHBOX COLLECTIBLES

Matchbox, a division of Mattel Inc., is currently marketing "The Anheuser Busch Tractor Trailer Collection." The collection features six tractor trailers each emblazoned with a different Anheuser Busch brand, including Budweiser and Michelob. Though Matchbox claims that it is targeting the "adult collector," the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence believes that this demonstrates how Anheuser Busch uses products with family appeal to build brand identification and make drinking seem harmless.

NCADD has written to Mattel to express our concerns and we urge you to do the same.
