- 2016 Alcohol Awareness Month—April
- Alcohol-Free Weekend, April 1-3
Each April since 1987, the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. (NCADD) has sponsored Alcohol Awareness Month to increase public awareness and understanding, reduce stigma and encourage local communities to focus on alcoholism and alcohol-related issues. This year will mark our 30th annual commemoration. Check back in the coming weeks for details on theme and look for the organizer’s guide and other material to be posted soon after the first of the year.
