About Midwestern Connecticut Council on Alcoholism 

MCCA is an affiliate of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence ( NCADD ).
MCCA is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a 501(c)3 non-profit community-based organization .

Not only is MCCA accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)  but  MCCA is also licensed by the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) . They are supported by the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) and the Connecticut Court Support Services Division (CSSD) and partially supported by the United Way of Western Connecticut. MCAA is supported by the City of Danbury, the Town of New Milford, the Town of Ridgefield, the Barden Foundation and The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation
